At 5:12am this morning, September 22, the same prowler / trespasser - his name is Kawika Barrett - seen all over Whitley Heights crossed very clear perimeter boundaries & demarcations onto my property. It seemed he was fleeing from being noticed by a car. He has learned to evade most of my perimeter alarms , so I was unaware until I saw the footage. He approached my inner gate & appeared to try to gain access. He kept inspecting the property & looking inside the house to see if someone was home. If you see him trespassing, please call 911 & alert them that a neighborhood prowler is on your property. If officers detain him, please request a private person's arrest. If he is not found, please still request a trespass report. Have the officers stamp the report NPP (Neighborhood Prosecutor Program). We as a community are working with LAPD & our Neighborhood Prosecutor office on a criminal stay away. Multiple LAPD reports are needed. Hoping the attached video posts.
