Please download. It's free. You can post and view immediate crime alerts and suspicious activity. LAPD monitors this app. Law enforcement responds with texts and/or patrol cars when merited. The Ring Team also monitors this app for inappropriate content.

Once the app is installed, go to settings. Be sure to configure the map. Using your finger move the dots to outline Whitley Heights. This way you'll be focused solely on our neighborhood. Not casting a wider net.

We are also looking into an exclusive offer with Ring to purchase doorbell videos and security cameras. Some residents have the doorbell video which is motion-activated. It records the UPS man making a delivery and well as shady characters running off with our things.

The crime in the lower left happened on Emmet Terrace almost a month ago. Two guys jumped a neighbor's iron gate and stole their bikes. Very unfortunate.

The suspicious activities are there for you to watch.

Neighbors by Ring app is a helpful tool to keep us connected. Our goal is to better protect our homes and each other.

We continue to encourage everyone to subscribe to Post Patrol. The more neighbors who sign up, the more patrol cars circulate our streets day and night. You do not have to use their alarm system to qualify. Presently, we have about 50 subscribers. We share a car with Outpost Estates.
