This man has been sleeping in different areas of my porch and side entrance. I found him on my front porch when I returned home at 10:30pm on Friday. When I confronted him to tell him he couldn't sleep there, he shouted incoherently, then threatened me. Police arrived an hour later, but he was gone. Since then, Post has been patrolling the area carefully, and checking in for him. I have spoken to other neighbors who claim to have seen this man around the neighborhood, talking to himself, yelling at the air around him, and carrying various tools that could be used as weapons. He's about 5'9", African American, slender and fit, medium length hair, occasionally wears glasses and a cap, is often barefoot, but not always, and I have never seen him wearing the same clothes twice. Has anyone had contact, or seen this man on the hill? I have written SLO Brian White and Detective Shannon Geaney at LAPD about him.
