From CHP Officer Hong: "Quick update, we have Caltrans cleaning from the Cahuenga off ramp SB 101 and moving north. It's more trash than we anticipated so this area will be stretched out until tomorrow."

Such good news. Locals and tourists alike will be smiling. WHCA is working with CALTRANS to shore up those porous chainlink fences at both ends of the sound wall; Fairfield and Bella Vista Way.

Manny Sanchez was well aware of the encampment perched on the freeway elevation. In 2013 a person tragically fell off the retaining wall to his death. It's too danergous to live on that raked land. As many of you know Manny has been promoted to sergeant and will soon be posted at the 77th Street Division. He will be sorely missed.

Our community looks forward to continuing a strong relationship with LAPD. Our new SLO is Annabelle Eubank.
