Last night at 8:45pm, a man on a bicycle appeared to be scouting our street and then snatched a package from our front porch. We were home and in an adjacent room when this happened but by the time we got to the door he was gone. (We heard a bicycle creaking and then got a nest alert.) The whole incident took place in a matter of seconds. We are totally fine, just irritated — the package had been on our stoop for maybe an hour before getting picked off. (For the record we found the package in front of our neighbors house after as we knew the contents would be of zero interest to the thief.) We called post to report the incident and they followed up to pursue. just sending this out to the community so everyone can be aware and vigilant.
