Men were wearing light-colored clothing and on foot. I captured them twice. At 4:16 am they strolled past our garage and front gate. Returning at 4:22 am. They appeared lost. Fifty minutes later they resurface and head in the direction of 2063 Grace. Twelve minutes tick by. At 5:19 am the guys are moving at a fast chip. The heavyset man drops something small and shiny - probably the stolen house key from the lockbox.

I wrote to Officer Mata and Officer Childs providing details, footage and photos. My email included video from another neighbor's camera on Grace. SLO Mata replied that she was sorry to hear about what happened to this residence. Officer Childs has retired. The new Burglary Detective is Paul Hendry 32276@lapd.online He is aware of the break-in. If you have footage of the men, please send to him.

How terrifying for the vulnerable tenant. Our community is grateful she wasn't harmed. Thank you, David, for being on the scene so bright and early. Your calm presence must have been enormously comforting.

Sent Dan Kaufmann with Post an email with information. He will put out a bulletin to his officers. The Post Patrol car was also captured on our cameras early this morning at 1:50 am. I asked why the car was lit up. Dan replied, "Officers utilize the overhead lights to light up a certain area or to use as an extra deterrent while they are on patrol."

Several neighbors already sent reports to whitleyheightsinfo@gamil.com AJ has added accounts/videos/photos to the incident list and map. Please stay vigilant and safe. Thank you.
