This Thanksgiving we reflect on our history. Locally, Marie Dressler (Milner Road/Iris Circle) was cast in numerous films with neighbors.

1914 "Tillies Punctured Romance" Charlie Chaplin (Iris Drive) seated with Mabel Normand. Mable's husband Lew Cody lived at 1979 Grace Avenue.

1928 "The Patsy" with Marion Davies who lived on Whitley Terrace.

1930 "Anna Christie" with Greta Garbo who took up residence on Watsonia Terrace.

1930 "Min and Bill" co-starring with Wallace Beery (The French Village/Iris Circle).
