Some Councilmembers (O'Farrell, Cedillo) are trying to sabotage reform proposals and a Press Conference was held at City Hall today to protest those councilmembers and support David Ryu, and can be viewed on Whitley Heights facebook page.

Los Angeles Ethics Commission has voted unanimously for historic reforms to end the 'pay-to-play' culture dominating City Hall that invites corruption.

The L.A. City Council voted 14-0 to draw up 3 new Ordinances that embrace the Ethics Commission reforms.

But Councilmen Mitch O'Farrell and Gil Cedillo are resisting reform, internally.

According to city sources, they could kill the first major reform since the Ethics Commission was created in 1990.

Councilmembers Mitch O’Farrell and Gil Cedillo, (and possibly some others), question if there IS a problem.

Even as some are being investigated by the FBI.

Cedillo attacked the Los Angeles public's demand for donor reform when he said, “Perception is reality in many instances, but so are hysterias.”

Please take 2 minutes to call Councilmembers O'Farrell and Cedillo, and urge them to end their campaign against the long overdue ban on 'pay-to-play' in L.A.
