There has been an increase in reports of individuals calling DWP customers and falsely claiming their services will be disconnected unless payment is made immediately. It happened to me yesterday. Don’t fall for the trick and become a victim.

LADWP does not call customers threatening to turn off water and power service over the phone. If you receive a call like this, hang up. Call LADWP directly at 1-800-DIAL-DWP (800-342-5397) to ask about your account.
