2020 Property Tax Assessment
I just received a letter from the county for notice of assessed value change for 2020. I have been under a Mills Act Contract for 10+ years and this letter stated the taxable value for 2020 has gone up roughly %35 for my property. Normally I would be happy if I thought this increase reflected actual value, but it does not. Mills Act Value has never increased anywhere close to this amount in the 10+ years I have been living in WH. Has anyone else received this letter with similar increases? I plan on fighting this increase.

I just ran my current enrolled value printed on the letter through this CA property tax calculator https://smartasset.com/taxes/california-property-tax-calculator#ppAKV6Ozj3
and it tells me I'll be paying a little less than I did last year. Accurate?
One thing is for certain, after I receive my tax bill in the fall, without fail I'll receive an adjustment bill for a extra couple hundred bucks.
