I spotted a seemingly homeless man, whom I gather from this forum is Kawika Barrett, while walking up the Whitley Terrace Steps this afternoon around 5:30 pm. He was shirtless but wearing a jacket and appeared to be walking on the property of the house right adjacent to the mailboxes where the staircase turns toward Whitley Terrace. Rather than continue climbing the stairs, I turned around and headed back down to avoid a possibly frightening encounter.

I crossed his path at the bottom of the steps some time ago and was equally frightened when he followed me up, especially given that the staircase is very narrow and confining...

I've spoken to Patty both times and understand that he is usually harmless.
