I spoke with Harry Batikian from BSL construction this week. They only have one crew working now because of the holidays, and they are preparing for additional crews in January when work will begin again in earnest. The Whitley Terrace outage is a repair issue and not their doing, he said. Apparently it’s related to the power outage and the DWP crews will be dealing with it. Also, he said the Odin lights are not related to the construction work and he was unaware of the outage. He said that would also be a repair issue, and Patty is following up with Emma Taylor from Councilwoman Raman's office to try to get those repaired. Harry will have no more updates for us until January when more crews are back at work. I will contact him again probably the second week of January. Happy (though dark) Holidays!
