I spoke with BSL today and the new pole for the corner of Wedgewood and Whitley is still on order. In the meantime, I asked that someone come out and cover the existing base to guarantee that it is safe. I was assured that the light request is still active in the system and someone will come out in the next few days to secure the base safely. I was told the light pole could take six months or longer to arrive ( was requested about five weeks ago) so at least this will keep the base safe. I will check back in another month or so if it has not arrived, just to make sure they are still aware, which the supervisor assured me they are.
