Amanda at BSL informs me that due to the widespread theft of copper wire, BSL is backlogged on all street light repairs across the city and is experiencing an average turnaround of 90 business days to address each service request. Residents have reported outages throughout the 2000 block of Holly Hill Terrace and 6500 block of Cerritos Place. BSL received the 311 request on November 6, so it could be well after Christmas before they are repaired. I will continue to try to reach the maintenance supervisor, Bernie Coronado, to see if we can hurry up the process. I have been unsuccessful as of yet, but will keep at it. We are on the docket, and they are aware these streets are dark.
