For six months I've been trying to host a Meet and Greet for the Special Problems Team who patrol County land. This includes the Bowl parking lots, the Fairfield palm grove, the picnic area that abut Milner and Watsonia, and the Hollywood Heritage Musuem. Deputy Tim Tellez along with Deputy Rico Munos and Deputy Ernie Lofton will be in the Area 11 at 7:00 AM tomorrow. I'll provide coffee and pastries. It's an opportunity to show our appreciation for their hard work and hear their stories. They're humble, gentle men who love to laugh.

This Team has the daunting task of patrolling 180 parks in Los Angles. We are incredibly lucky to have them come to our sweet park several times a month. In fact they were here last Saturday. Their presence reduces crime which enhances our peace of mind.

The Hollywood Heritage Museum is treasured by all. We thank County for funding the Special Problems Team and the Sheriff Department for safeguarding this historic building. If you're up early, please join us.
