An update on the tree trimming project...

Working with the County, the Hollywood Bowl completed research and has opinions from the County bird expert and arborist about trimming the eucalyptus tree on Milner Road, across the street from 6776 Milner Road. They were advised that there are no protected birds nesting in the tree. Also, the arborist recommends trimming no more than 1/4 of the canopy, removing dead branches, and not “topping” the tree. The project requires a special 100’ boom truck, which is scheduled for 8:00 AM on Wednesday, August 3rd. Notices are being posted on adjacent vehicles, and we would appreciate your help reaching to the Whitley Heights neighbors to let them know that access on Milner to & from Highland Avenue will be disrupted for about four hours.
