Save the date. WHCA is sponsoring a beautificaion project. We are meeting at the Chess Table near 2040  Whitley Avenue.

Time: 10 am.

Weather forecast - 73 degrees and sunny. Please wear sunscreen and sunhats. Bring gardening shears, gloves, loppers, electric saws, determination and good cheer!

We will have cold water bottles, hot coffee, and sweets. The Hollywood Bowl is donatng doughnuts to our cause.

The city will provide equipment for the clean up. Los Angeles Conservation Corps will supply a truck and volunteers. Please think in advance about where you want to clean up. The list so far:

4. Dick Lovell garden lot

5. Dead palm fronds at 2031 Whitley Avenue

6. Top of Milner
