Heart of Hollywood:

The concept for the Hollywood Walk of Fame Master Plan has been released. Area 3 will be discussing the "Heart of Hollywood" plan with CD 13’s Dan Halden. To have an informed discussion, it is highly recommended that you view the Walk of Fame concept plan HERE. Homeless Issues in Area 3:

Paul Jenkins, the HHWNC Public Safety chair will help with a discussion on the homeless issues occurring in Area 3. We will look at the interface of legal rights of the homeless, legal rights of homeowners, and what can be done. Others within City government have been invited. Follow-up:

At the February HHWNC Board meeting, the Motion for the Traffic Study in Area 3 passed by HHWNC board. A Community Impact Statement was sent to the Department of Transportation. We received confirmation of receipt.

CORANOVIRUS: COVID-19 Our Public Safety Chair, Paul Jenkins, has created a page on the HHWNC packed with resources to keep you updated and prepared for the appearance of COVID-19 in Los Angeles. STREET CLOSURES Thursday, March 5, 3:00 AM to Friday, March 6 At 2:00 AM “WESTWORLD” PREMIERE The Westbound lanes of Hollywood Blvd. between Highland Ave. and Orange Dr. will be closed from 3:00 AM on Thursday, March 5th until 2:00 AM on Friday, March 6th for the premiere of “Westworld.” LA Marathon

This Sunday, March 8, LA Marathon:

The Marathon course on Hollywood Boulevard extends from Vermont to Orange.

Area 3 street closures are Highland Southbound at Franklin, and Cahuenga Southbound at Franklin.

Closures of those streets start a 3:15 AM and expected to open at 12:00 Noon.
