HHWNC PLUM COMMITTEE (zoom) MEETING TONIGHT @ 6:00PM...OUR 'AREA 3' ISSUES ON AGENDA
Hello Area 3 Stakeholders, Here’s hoping you are safe and cool, and had a stress-less Labor Day! There is no scheduled Area 3 Committee meeting for September.
However, I encourage you to participate in tonight’s PLUM Meeting and Wednesday, September 16’s Board Meeting.

Tonight’s PLUM Committee will be discussing the newly released second Draft of the Hollywood Community Plan Update 2.
New to this draft are the Community Plan Implementation Overlays (CPIOs).
One Overlay that affects Area 3 is Multi-Family Residential (MF1).
This is south of Franklin to behind the businesses on Hollywood, and from both sides of Wilcox to not quite Highland (definitely past Las Palmas).
Linda Liu from the City’s Department of Planning will be presenting.
In the dark blue area below, buildings can be as tall as 60 feet with an extra 20 feet, and a proposed bonus FAR of 6:1.
As many stakeholders have participated over the past three years in this process, you may want to participate in this Zoom meeting.

The second agenda item that Area 3 stakeholders will be interested in a discussion of Proposition 21. Subtitled “Local Rent Initiative (2020), Proposition 21 is on the ballot this November.
