Proposed cell tower
Dear Neighbors,
Sprint is proposing to install a wireless complex atop Whitley House at 1963 Cahuenga.
To understand the magnitude of this proposed level of RF radiation increase,
Metered readings in our homes and streets are currently around 30.
High risk for serious health effects is at 650;
This complex will increase levels to 3000.
Granting this variance will set precedent for allowing all carriers to build towers on our desirable high-elevation hill. These installations are not commonly allowed in residential neighborhoods, where people have prolonged, continuous exposure. We urge all of Whitley Heights residents to PLEASE COME for 30 minutes to raise your hand and OPPOSE the cell towers at the HHWNC meeting on Wednesday,10/17 at 6pm, Durant Library 7140 W Sunset Blvd. TURNOUT IS NEEDED TO STOP THIS. This is a severely damaging precedent for Whitley Heights, with long-standing detrimental effects.
Thank you for your awareness & action.
Helen Jacks
