Thankfully, we're not hunkered down in a Bomb Cyclone! And as the new year is here, we'd love some help taking down our lovely holiday garlands. Most of them are already down, bagged and are just looking for a nice garage or closet to be stored in or bed to hide under until next year. If you could take a bag or two home (there are two in a bag) to store for us, that would be neighborly and nice! Please email Susan at: susanh@me.com to let her know that you'd like to help out. ALSO needed is help taking down the last 21 garlands. There are 6 on Milner Road, 2 on Watsonia (Wendy, can you cover those, please?), 2 at top of Whitley Avenue steep hill, 6 on Emmet (Schelley, can you organize a take-down/store, please?), 1 on Holly Hill Terrace (Michael, can you help, please?), and 4 on Grace Avenue. They are a sinch to take down as the bungee cord holding them up just quickly snaps off! Please let Susan know which area you might be able to take care of - I promise you that it will take no time. (Taking down 28 of them took 30 minutes!) If you need a ladder, let her know as well. This weekend would be great!! Happy New Year to you all!
