Hydee is familiar and a friend to many of us.

She fought alongside communities protecting themselves from all the community killing state land use (Weiner) bills, SB827 SB50, SB1120, SB9 and SB10..attended local Town Halls with us, City Council meetings with us to speak in opposition of them, and to thank Councilmembers voting for the City of L.A. to oppose all of them, and attended state bill hearings up in Sacramento, meeting with our State Reps. and keeping communities down here in the loop and updated as to all the goings on up there.

She has been a 'Guest' a number of times at our Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council 'presenting' and sharing knowledge and information, basically educating board members and stakeholders about legal, city government, and legislative issues, among other things.

She even shared helpful information that former Councilmember Ryu was not aware of, and his staff was grateful to her for taking the time to share the info with his staff at our HHWNC meetings.

She's a terrific teacher.

She is very anti-corruption, really smart, very accessible, is very qualified for this position, and basically a really good person.

She has been endorsed by The L.A. Times, The L.A. Daily News, United Firefighters of L.A. City, among others, and 'Moms Demand Action' just awarded her their '2022 Gun Sense Candidate Distinction Award'.
