Save the date: Saturday, March 3, at 9 am. Meet up at the Whitley Terrace/Wedgewood sound wall to help with the trimming of the Acacia that has completely taken over the space between the sound wall and the curb. It has grown so dense, that it is allowing the homeless to take up residence behind it. It needs to be trimmed back enough that it will no longer serve as a shield to hide the homeless and their belongings. Bring work gloves, and pruning/lopping shears, if you have them. We also are in need of empty green cans. If you have one that you can let us use that day, please bring it or have it dropped off. Hope to see as many neighbors there as possible. Many hands make for light work.
