Traffic

I sent Angela Babcock an email and she called me. The Bowl advisory committee meets in a few weeks to hear Gibson transportation engineers report. The goal has been to keep Highland flowing on concert days. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Angela relies on us to tell her how this experiment has impacted Whitley Heights. Like it or not we're in relationship with the Hollywood Bowl. We're either at the table or on the table.

"Thanks so much for chatting this morning about the concerns in the neighborhood. I want people to know that their feedback during the pilot street closures has been very helpful. A pilot, like this one, is an opportunity to test something that hasn't been done. The pilot closures have been one measure among other ideas that have come from the last several months of tackling traffic issues and listening to residents.  I am always happy to hear from neighbors about their experience with the closure or any other Hollywood Bowl concerns. They can email me any time or I can give them a call.  Keep me in the loop as you here from your neighbors in Whitley Heights and I'll continue to send out information and advisories. Take care, Angela BabcockStratiscope on behalf of the LA Philharmonic"

I understand many people being frustrated as the entire community deals with the city wide issue of traffic. Your feedback is crucial as our conversations continue in open meetings. Let's get all our neighbors to contribute to the conversation and their WHCA dues to continue our efforts. We may not all agree but we need to offer options to a changing environment . Would you not say they are looking at options? In the past your voice was not even heard.
