Welcome to
Whitley Heights

Hollywood’s first hillside community — and its first National Historic District.

Nestled above the heart of Hollywood, Whitley Heights remains one of Los Angeles’ most storied neighborhoods — where winding Mediterranean lanes, terraced gardens, and red-tile roofs still echo the golden age of film.

Once home to legends like Rudolph Valentino, Gloria Swanson, Bette Davis, Charlie Chaplin, and William Faulkner, the neighborhood became a sanctuary for artists, dreamers, and the early pioneers of cinema.

Today, Whitley Heights endures much as it did a century ago — a vibrant community steeped in heritage, framed by panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills, and forever basking in the glow of the Hollywood Sign.
