About the event

Event Details

Enter the home of Dennis Gassner, the Academy Award–winning and BAFTA-honored production designer behind Blade Runner 2049, Big Fish, the recent James Bond films, and decades of collaborations with Francis Ford Coppola, Sam Mendes, and the Coen Brothers.

His Whitley Heights residence — once occupied by Bette Davis — reflects the same thoughtful imagination that shapes his films, with pieces ranging from a couch once sat on by Paul Newman to a near-perfect reproduction of Modigliani’s stolen Girl with Fan, all collected over decades with a curator’s eye and a storyteller’s instinct. The home feels like a lived-in gallery, filled with set pieces and history in every corner, shaped slowly and organically over time.
