New Foundry - Order Historic Bronze Plaques

We have located a foundry who will produce Whitley Heights historic plaques, which can be ordered directly using this link:

Cost we have been quoted for a 6” by 9” plaque is $270 each. The price could lower if multiple plaques are ordered. Choose your color and mounting preference when ordering. If you have questions, please write to Daniel at:

info@customplaquesin.com

Please be aware all orders must be via email or through their website. Indicate the year your house was built and they will accommodate you. Also, any text which might differ from the plaque displayed on the link. Daniel is familiar with what we are looking for. The sample shown, which they produced for a Whitley Heights resident, is a black background with hidden mounting screws.

Jacaranda tree (Whitley Terrace & Milner Road)

Update on the Jacaranda tree, located on the triangle-shaped slope near the intersection of Whitley Terrace and Milner Road, damaged by a truck on Friday, June 12.

The city responded to Shane Hall's 311 request on Thursday, June 18. The arborist trimmed the broken branch and cleaned up all of the debris. See before and after photos. Even better news: The arborist told us the tree is in excellent health and is expected to recover well!😀

Those of us who live nearby are so relieved to know the tree is healthy, and we all can look forward to enjoying the springtime purple blooms for years to come. 🌳💜 🌳💜
